I am Christina Veselak, owner of Garden Gate Counseling and The Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition, which is now located near Huntington, in West Virginia. While I am licensed in Colorado as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), in Wayne, West Virginia, I work as a Relapse Prevention and Trauma Recovery Coach and a Mental Health Nutritionist. Psychotherapy Education

I graduated from San Francisco State University in 1983 with an MS in Counseling Psychology.  I was licensed in California as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1985 and have subsequently been licensed in Alaska and Colorado. I am also trained and highly experienced in the field of addiction, EMDR therapy, hypnosis, and somatic psychotherapy through the Sensorimotor Institute. I keep up with the latest developments in the field of psychotherapy and am committed to continuously learning and growing as a psychotherapist, recovery coach, and mental health nutritionist.

Professional Activities

I am the founder of the Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition. I train professionals from a variety of backgrounds in Mental Health and Addiction Recovery Nutrition. My courses can be taken through NANP (National Association of Nutritional Professionals) as CEUs or can be taken directly through the Academy.
